Not every customer needs or wants this level of system to meet their requirements, however, these systems and concepts are considered for every customer.

M & E Plastics LLC is dedicated to our customers' total satisfaction in each item delivered. Our ISO: 9001: 2015 Certification represents more than a registration by a certifying agency, it's a process-driven culture of systemic quality and continual improvement. We are committed to providing components and sub-assemblies which meet your expectations while continuously challenging ourselves to improve on our quality metrics to consistently exceed our customers' expectations.

Our target is "ZERO NON-CONFORMANCE." Our strategy to achieve and maintain this goal is to develop a Quality Management System using the combined talents and skills of your product design, engineering and quality control staff along with our process development and manufacturing staff. All organizational personnel within
M & E Plastics LLC are included, from product design to process design. Our goal is to ensure that there are no special cause variations within the system and all inherent causes of variation are documented and controlled.

Our approach to quality is a systemic approach which goes well beyond part dimensions and includes:

Material

We work with our material suppliers of choice or as designated by our customers to ensure that the product produced meets the specific needs for fit, function, color, reliability and durability.

Material Handling

Material Control

Process Control

Quality Control

Packaging Development and Control

Shipping

We do not take a cookie-cutter approach when developing the Quality Management System for our customers. We work with each of our customers to design the appropriate system to support their continued success.

M & E Plastics LLC Quality Certification is currently ISO 9001:2015, and we are IATF16949 Compliant (Automotive Sector).

Our Quality Management System (QMS) statement is, "Through continual improvement and constant vigil, M & E Plastics  will supply its customers with the agreed number of parts on time, at a competitive price and at the appropriate quality level."

Our goal is to produce the finest parts achievable and meet or exceed your design specifications using a Quality Management System (QMS) which documents and verifies the highly-skilled engineering thought processes from product concept to product realization, process development, and quality engineered sustainability over time.

In short, the quality of the product produced will mirror the system that produced the part and must reflect Stability, Capability, and Control.

An example of a Quality Management System for our automotive customers is our adherence to the AIAG (Automotive Industry Action Group) guidelines along with customer-specific requirements which include methodologies such as (but not limited to):

  • Feasibility Studies
  • APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning)
  • D/FMEA (Design Failure Modes and Effects Analysis - AIAG)
  • P/FMEA (Process Failure Modes and Effects Analysis - AIAG)
  • PPAP (Purchased Part Approval Process - AIAG)
  • SPC (Statistical Process Control / Mini-Tab Software)
  • Measurement System Analysis (AIAG)
  • Process Flow Diagrams
  • Control Plans (AIAG)
  • And more
